Report: Man who fled traffic stop in Rome arrested in Chattooga County

A Rome man was arrested after he fled from a traffic stop on Martha Berry Boulevard.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 43-year old Terrance Jermaine Osborne refused verbal commands to exit his vehicle before taking off, eventually reaching speeds of more than 100 miles an hour.

He ran the red light at Martha Berry and Redmond Road.

Osborne’s vehicle was finally stopped in Chattooga County.

He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, obstruction of officers, reckless driving, and other traffic violations including a violation of Georgia’s “Super Speeder” law.
