GORDON COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A Calhoun man has been arrested in connection with a fatal wreck that occurred Sunday on Fairmount Highway just east of Lovers Lane Road.
51-year old Eddie Lee Hampton has been booked into the Gordon County Jail on charges of felony 1st-degree homicide by vehicle, DUI, open container, reckless driving, improper U-turn, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Hampton made a U-Turn in front of a motorcycle, causing a collision.
The motorcyclist, 54-year old Jeffery Grady Lingerfelt, was fatally injured.
