FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 31-year old Rome man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly stealing a tractor-trailer from a location on North 5th Avenue.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Donnie Stephen Baker then failed to stop for authorities.
When he was finally stopped on 2nd Avenue near Broad Street, Baker was found with a used syringe and suspected methamphetamine.
He was arrested and charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, operation of a commercial vehicle without a proper license, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.
