Before Coosa High’s graduation ceremony, the Floyd County Board of Education held a called meeting and approved the recommendation to hire Jason Kouns as the new principal at Pepperell High School.

Before coming to Pepperell, Kouns was the principal at Elbert County Comprehensive High School.

He replaces current Pepperell High Principal Jamey Alcorn, who was named the Executive Director of Student Services and Operations for Floyd County Schools, effective July 1.
