The Exchange Club of Rome will present one of the largest Memorial Day observances around this coming weekend at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
On Saturday and Sunday, the public is invited to view displays of military history.
The display, open free to the public, can be seen from 10 AM until 4 PM each day.
It traces military history through weaponry, service uniforms, flags, and other objects.
Then on Monday, the Memorial Day Observance will begin at 10 AM with music and a ceremonial wreath-laying at Rome Exchange’s National Award Winning 1/2 sized replica of the Tomb of the Unknown.
