FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 34-year old Summerville woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Friday on a felony count of robbery by sudden snatching.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Dominique Makela Adams snatched bank information and a $100 bill out of a man’s hand at a location in the 300 block of Broad Street.

She also allegedly grabbed the victim’s 10 karat diamond necklace, valued at $20,000, and broke it off his neck.

Adams is additionally charged with simple battery, criminal damage to property, and giving false information to police.
