A 19-year old was arrested after a 13-year old was shot in the arm on Tuesday in Cartersville.

According to Cartersville Police reports, Christopher Dalton Ross told police he was playing with his gun in a shed off of Akron Street and the victim was playing with a stick.

When the victim approached Ross with the stick, Ross fired the gun, striking the victim in the right arm.

Ross was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
