FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary on Mt. Alto Road that occurred back in August.
According to the arrest warrants, 23-year old Jacob Thomas Smith of Rome entered the unoccupied residence and took $6,000 in property belonging to the victim.
Smith also entered a 2003 Mercury Marquis Grand belonging to the victim and then stole it.
Smith is charged with 1st-degree burglary, loitering or prowling, felony theft by taking, theft by taking a motor vehicle, entering an automobile and criminal trespass.
