This weekend King Celebration will be all virtual

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this weekend’s Martin Luther King Jr. celebration will be an all-virtual event with area residents being able to participate from the comfort of their own homes.

The Family Prayer Breakfast is Saturday at 9 a.m.

Pastor Steve Caldwell will bring a message via Facebook Live at Facebook.com/6wills.inc.

Sunday’s Ecumenical Service, featuring Pastor Bernard Young, will also be on Facebook on the Thankful Missionary Baptist Church Facebook page at Facebook.com/TMBCROME or you can watch it on the church’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/thankfulmedia

It begins at 5 p.m.

Then on Monday, there will be a drive-thru lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. or until all the lunches have been given out.

The lunch will be at the Rome Civic Center.
