FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

Five inmates at the Floyd County Jail have been charged with interference with government property, criminal damage to property, unlawful acts in a penal institution and reckless conduct.

According to jail records, 26-year old Michael John Helterbrand of Dalton and 25-year old Toby Keith Johnson of Silver Creek, along with 34-year old Corey Adam Master of Rome, 32-year old Joshua Michael Pointer, and 38-year old Scotty Joel Venable, all of Rome, are accused of damaging the sprinklers in their cells.

Helterbrand, as you may remember, was one of three men arrested in January of last year in what authorities called a white supremacist plot with plans to overthrow the government and murder a Bartow County couple.
