A 74-year old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday in Polk County.

Richard Wayne Tibbetts is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in the shooting of 21-year old Mark Harris at a location on Carter Mountain Road.

Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd told Polk Today that Harris was in intensive care after being airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital.
