CALHOUN POLICE DEPARTMENT

On 24 December at approximately 02:45 hours, officers responded to Adventhealth Gordon in reference to a black male subject with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

As a result of the gunshot wound, the victim is now deceased.

The victim was brought to the hospital by the two men in the photos, who dragged him into the hospital and left him.

The suspects were driving an unknown make and model, dark four door sedan, possibly a Ford.

Detectives are also searching for the vehicle that the victim was last seen in, a 2019 gray Kia Rio, Georgia license plate #CNU 6001.

It has since been learned that the shooting occurred in Dalton and is currently being investigated by Dalton Police.
