Man charged in church burglary, arson

A 21-year old Rome man is accused of breaking into a West Rome church.

According to the arrest warrants, Grant Tristan Crocker entered the Transfiguration Episcopal Church on Coker Drive and took a flat-screen TV valued at $200.

He also allegedly set a fire, causing damage to the property inside and to the walls of the church.

Crocker is charged with 2nd-degree burglary and 2nd-degree arson.
