We are less than a month away from the November General Election and Monday is the last day to register to vote.
You can check your registration status at mvp.sos.ga.gov.
You can also register to vote and check out sample ballots at that same web address.
In addition to the Presidential Election, a number of federal, state and local contests are also on the ballot.
In-person advance voting for the November 3 Election begins a week from Monday.
In Floyd County, you can vote in advance in-person October 12 – October 30 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays at the Floyd County Administration Building Community Room on East Fourth Avenue or at Garden Lakes Baptist Church on Redmond Circle.
You will also be able to vote on October 19 – 23 at the Floyd County Health Department on East 12th Street.
During the week of October 26-30, the Rome Civic Center on Jackson Hill will be open for voting.
Weekend voting this year will be on October 17 and 18 and again on October 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Floyd County Administration Building Community Room or Garden Lakes Baptist Church.
