Floyd County reported another COVID-19-related death Wednesday, the 8th since Sunday.
30 have now died from coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
Floyd County also reported 68 new positive tests Wednesday for a total of 2,154 since the start of the pandemic.
Two more Gordon County residents have died from COVID-19, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
The two deaths in Wednesday’s report brings the total to 27 since the start of the pandemic.
Polk County also reported a death Wednesday for a total of 13.
The State of Georgia has surpassed 260,000 cases with 2,322 new cases on Wednesday.
50 additional deaths were reported for a total of 5,311.
