A Rockmart man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at Cookout Burger on Martha Berry Boulevard in Rome on Saturday.

According to the arrest warrant, 52-year old Juan Monte Elder stabbed a man in the left side with a knife.

Elder is charged with aggravated assault.
