One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Gordon County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a vehicle driven by 39-year old Jeremy D. Davis of Rydal was traveling north on Wesley Chapel Road attempting to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle traveled across the southbound lane and off the west side of the road.

The vehicle struck a tree with the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Davis died at the scene.
