COVID-19 report for Sunday

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Another 3,172 COVID-19 cases were reported in Georgia from Saturday to Sunday.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, those new cases bring the total to 193,177 since the pandemic began.

Another 15 Georgia residents have died, bringing that total to 3,840 since March.

Floyd County saw another 23 cases from Saturday to Sunday, bringing the total to 1,266.

Bartow County was up by 24 more cases for a total of 1,607.

Bartow also reported another death for a total of 60 since the pandemic began.

Gordon County saw another 13 positives for a total of 1,004.

Polk County was up by 11 from Saturday to Sunday for a total of 675.

Polk County saw three more residents die from the virus for a total of nine.

And Chattooga County is at 198 total cases up by 11 from Saturday to Sunday.
