Georgia reported another 2,197 positive COVID-19 tests on Sunday, according to the state department of public health.
Statewide on Sunday, there were 95,516 total cases, up from 93,319 on Saturday.
The 2,197 new cases are lower than last week’s one day record of nearly 3,500.
There were only three additional deaths reported from Saturday to Sunday.
There were also only 32 additional hospitalizations.
In Floyd County, there were only two new cases, bringing the total to 588 since the pandemic began.
Floyd County reported no additional deaths or hospitalizations from Saturday to Sunday.
In Bartow County, there were nine new cases Sunday, bringing the total to 774.
There were no new deaths or hospitalizations.
Gordon County only saw two new cases with no additional deaths or hospitalizations.
Polk County reported three new positives with no additional deaths or hospitalizations.
Chattooga County reported no new cases from Saturday to Sunday.
