COVID-19 report for June 28

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The State of Georgia has had a total of 2,226 positive COVID-19 tests from Saturday to Sunday.

That brings the total to 79,292 cases since the pandemic began.

Two more deaths were reported during the same 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 2,778 since March.

In Floyd County, there have been 495 total cases and 15 deaths.

Bartow County reported an additional death on Saturday, bringing the total to 42.

671 Bartow County residents have tested positive since the start of the pandemic.

Gordon County is at 351 total cases and 18 deaths.

Polk County has seen 205 cases and only one death.

56 Chattooga County residents have tested positive since the start of the outbreak.

Two have died.
