A 48-year old Rome man was arrested over the weekend at his South Avenue residence on a felony aggravated assault charge.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Wilfredo Vasquez pointed a firearm at a man, putting the victim in fear of violent injury.

The alleged incident occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday.
