COVID-19 report for June 14

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Another Gordon County resident has died from COVID-19 since last Friday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

This brings the total number of deaths to 18 since the pandemic began.

There have now been 253 confirmed cases since March.

37 Gordon County residents have also been hospitalized during that time.

Statewide, there were 880 new COVID-19 cases reported from Saturday to Sunday.

Five more Georgians have died, bringing the total to 2,451.

Floyd County is at 387 total confirmed cases, five are currently hospitalized.

Total deaths have remained at 15 for several weeks.

Bartow County is at 543 total cases and 39 total deaths.

Polk County has had 164 cases and only one death.

Chattooga County is at 34 cases and only two deaths.
