Long-term care facility COVID-19 report

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

The Georgia Department of Community Health has released its latest, weekly Long-Term Care Facility COVID-19 Report.

The report shows COVID-19 cases in licensed nursing homes, assisted living communities, and personal care homes of 25 beds or more and is based on data reported by the facilities to the Georgia Department of Community Health as of 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

In Floyd County, Rome Health and Rehabilitation on Redmond Road reports no new resident or staff cases.

They remain at 25 and 36 respectively.

Another resident has died, bringing the total to five.

Chulio Hills Health and Rehab on Chulio Road remained at three cases among staff.

5th Avenue Health Care now has one resident case in addition to two staff members with COVID-19 that had been previously reported.

Seven Hills Place on Technology Parkway, Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation on Moran Lake Road, Winthrop Health and Rehabilitation on Chateau Drive, and Pruitt Health on Three Mile Road each have reported one staff member with a positive test.  No change from the last report.

In Cartersville, Maple Ridge Health Care Center reports 25 resident cases, this is up by three from last week’s report.

They remain at nine staff cases and six deaths.

Townsend Park Health and Rehabilitation reports 55 resident cases, 17 positives among staff, and 10 resident deaths, all unchanged from the last report.

Highlands Senior Living has one resident and one staff member who have tested positive.  There has been one resident death.

Tranquility of Cartersville remains at two residents who have tested positive.

The Cartersville Center for Nursing and Healing, and remained at one positive test among staff.

The Fountains in Cartersville has three resident cases in addition to the two previously reported staff cases.

In Gordon County, Calhoun Health Care Center on Highway 41 North has had 52 residents with COVID-19, up from 51 last week.

15 staff members who have tested positive, up from 12.  There have been 10 resident deaths, up one from the last report.
