Man charged with aggravated battery following fight

A Rome man was arrested Monday evening following an altercation in which he and another man ended up with stab wounds.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 39-year old Anthony Michael Moss Jr. of an East 18h Street address showed up at the victim’s location on Calhoun Road without permission and started the physical altercation.

The victim sustained a stab wound and a broken nose.

Moss also sustained a stab wound during the fracas, according to the report.

Moss is charged with aggravated battery and criminal trespass.
