There is a Moderate Risk for severe storms, across western portions of north and central Georgia this afternoon through early Monday morning, with an Enhanced Risk elsewhere.

A risk for tornadoes, some of which could be strong (EF2+) long- track, covers much of the area through tonight. The time-frame where we could see this risk will be after 9 PM tonight and through the overnight hours into early Monday morning.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 PM Sunday until 6 AM Monday with winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 5 P.M. Sunday until 8 AM Monday.

Flash flooding will be possible over parts of far north Georgia this afternoon and overnight.

River levels may remain high through early next week.
