Sunday COVID-19 update

Two Floyd County residents have now died from COVID-19.

The latest is a 75-year old Rome man.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, as of 7 p.m. Sunday, the number of cases statewide has grown to 2,683 with 83 deaths, which is right around 3%.

Floyd County has 28 confirmed Coronavirus cases.

Bartow County has 119 cases, one death.

Gordon County has 14 cases and one death.

Polk County has 10 cases and no deaths while Chattooga County remains at one case.
