[VIDEO] Woman arrested for threatening store clerk with a knife

Floyd County Police have arrested a Rome woman who was caught on surveillance video threatening a convenience store clerk with a knife back on March 2.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 31-year old Jessica Lynn Randle of a Presley Street address went into the Circle K on Cedartown Highway, made racially charged remarks, pulled out a knife and threatened to cut the clerk’s throat.

A man is seen on the video grabbing Randle and pushing her out of the store.

The two got into a white van and left the scene.

The incident was witnessed by a seven-year-old child, according to the warrant.

Randle is charged with aggravated assault and 2nd-degree cruelty to children.
