FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome man was jailed on an aggravated assault charge following an incident at his Martha Berry Boulevard residence Monday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 32-year old Stephen Lamar Johnson grabbed a woman by the neck leaving obvious marks.

There were also signs that he struck the woman in the cheek and ear.

Johnson was additionally charged with simple battery.
