A motor home fire on I-75 closed the southbound lanes of I-75 in Gordon County for nearly two hours Saturday.

The incident occurred at around 11:50 a.m. near the Highway 53 exit.

WTVC television reports that Gordon County 911 said one person was transported to the hospital for treatment of a non-fire related injury.

The interstate was reopened during the 1 o’lock hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
