The Rome City Commission is expected to set water and sewer rates for the coming year when they meet Monday night.
Water usage rates are going up by 7 cents per cubic feet.
There is no charge for the first 100 cubic feet.
Sewer rates inside the corporate limits and in the unincorporated area for those on the city system are going up by 17 cents.
The increase is 22 cents for those on the Floyd County System.
Again, there is no charge for the first 100 cubic feet or 748 gallons for customers on the City water system and 1000 gallons for customers on the Floyd County water system.

Also on the agenda is a second reading of a rezoning request from the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority for a senior housing development at Charlton Street and Martha Berry Boulevard and a rezoning application for commercial property on Riverside Parkway.
Monday’s Rome City Commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
