A woman is facing a felony count of tampering with evidence after police say she apparently flushed methamphetamine down the toilet.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 30-year old Jennifer Elyse Holdbrooks was found in possession of methamphetamine which was located in more than one bag at her Greenleaf Trail home.
The bags were located next to the toilet and only contained meth residue, indicating the drugs had been flushed.
The report states that Holdbrooks also had a firearm and children were in the home in close proximity to the drugs.
She was additionally charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and reckless conduct.
