Hundreds of Rome residents will join the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s begins with registration at 9 a.m. Saturday at State Mutual Stadium.
The opening ceremony is at 9:30 with the walk starting at 10.
In 2018, the Rome Walk raised $60,000 contributing to more than $96 million raised nationwide for care, support and research efforts for those impacted by Alzheimer’s.
Participants will learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment, and support programs and services.
They will also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.
