Two women arrested on aggravated assault charge

Two Rome women are facing aggravated assault charges following their arrests Sunday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 28-year old Porscha Lachelle Jennings of a Wooten Drive address cut a woman’s left pointer finger with an unidentified instrument during an altercation at a residence on Ashland Park Boulevard.

Meanwhile, 29-year old Precious Karen Echols of the residence cut the victim’s right ring finger.

The incident occurred in front of a child resulting in Jennings and Echols also being charged with 3rd-degree cruelty to children.
