One person was airlifted to the hospital following a wreck involving a Jeep and a motorcycle at Kingston Highway and the bypass Saturday evening.

The wreck, which occurred at around 6:30 p.m., shut down the intersection.

The woman who was airlifted was on the motorcycle.

The wreck remains under investigation.
