FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 21-year old Lindale woman was jailed Thursday on charges of reckless driving and two counts of serious injury by vehicle.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Leeali Cheyenne Morgan of a Garden Avenue address was traveling 50 to 55 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone and was driving recklessly when she rear-ended another vehicle which was stopped for a Floyd County School bus.

The impact caused the victim’s vehicle to travel into oncoming traffic where it struck another vehicle head on.

The victim sustained a severe injury to her leg, pelvis and foot.

Another person sustained a disfiguring injury to the left side of his face.

The wreck occurred Thursday on Maple Road approximately a quarter of a mile from Mahan Street.
