Floyd County Commissioners will consider a rezoning request and a Special Use Permit for miniature warehouses on Rockmart Highway in Silver Creek when they meet Tuesday.

The commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. with the pre-meeting caucus at 4.

Commissioners are also expected to approve a $24,800 renovation of the Victim Witness area of the Judicial Center and an amendment to the Waste Hauling Contract with Republic Industries to include a second packer at the Shannon Remote Site.

A memorandum of understanding between Floyd County Police Department and the Floyd County School District for school resource officers is also on the agenda, along with a contract with Drinkard Engineering in the amount of $21,500 to design a new HVAC chiller system for the County Administration Building.
