Norfolk Southern will close Old Rockmart Road Thursday from approximately 9 am – 3 pm for repairs at the crossing near the Polk County line.
They will post a detour and contact 911 prior to the actual closing.
The detour will include Byrd Station, Fish Creek and Stewart Road which includes both Floyd and Polk County.
