A 29-year old Rydal man has been arrested in connection with a purse snatching on Shorter Avenue at Alma Road in Rome back on April 4.

According to the arrest warrant, Michael Antonio Arnold took the purse by force.

It contained $200 in cash, the victim’s cell phone valued at $549 and various other items.

Arnold is charged with robbery.
