FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 22-year old man from Conyers is in the Floyd County Jail, accused of shooting a 9mm from the middle of the road at a residence on Beard Drive in Rome on Wednesday.
According to the arrest warrants, the bullet struck and passed through a wooden fence before impacting the home under the kitchen window.
There were three children sitting at the kitchen table, eating.
Christopher Tyler Dennis is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, reckless conduct, 1st-degree cruelty to children, and discharging a firearm on or near a public highway or street.
Meanwhile, 19-year old Jadie Denae Hunt of Dallas, Georgia was arrested and charged with party to the crime of aggravated assault.
She allegedly knew that Dennis shot at the residence and drove him away from the scene.
