A woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle in 2016.

Melissa Paige Hardegree of Buchanan is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle.

According to Floyd County jail records, Hardegree was in possession of a U-Haul pickup truck originally rented on 12/31/2016 in Pensacola, Florida -The accused never returned the vehicle.
