Two Rome men were arrested Monday in connection with an armed robbery at Rick’s Little Garden on Dean Avenue.
According to the arrest warrants, 24-year old Jaylin Lashaun Daniel and 24-year-old Justin Lamar Ladon Dodson, both of a Woodcreek Way address, entered the store just after 5 a.m. Monday with a firearm and demanded money.
One of the men pointed the handgun at the clerk.
The gun was fired at the clerk, missing the victim’s head by a few inches.
Daniel and Dodson are both charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Daniel is additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and a probation violation.
