A Rome man was arrested Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault.

According to the warrant, 33-year old Shaddric Dexter Powell of a Welcome Hill Trail address punched and kicked the victim several times and then took a mirror from the wall and struck her with it.

The woman sustained injuries to her head, chest, stomach, left arm, and shoulder.
