Report: Woman took copper from Georgia Power property

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 38-year old Rome woman was arrested at a location on Cherry Lake Road Monday on 2nd-degree burglary charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Christy Darlene Pope of a Waddell Street address took 365 pounds of Copper and tools from the property owned by Georgia Power.

She was also charged with felony theft by taking, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, 1st-degree criminal damage to property (business), and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.
