Report: Man attempted to run over two people with pickup truck

A Lindale man was jailed Saturday after police say he attempted to kill two people with his vehicle.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 31-year old Jarrett Todd Louallen of a Lakeview Drive address went onto the victim’s property on Harmony Road despite the “No Trespassing” signs that were posted.

Louallen and an unnamed partner took a four-wheeler and a logger chain.

The report states that Louallen also attempted to take a pontoon boat and trailer and was confronted by the victim.

Louallen used his pickup truck as a weapon and attempted to run over the victim and the victim’s wife.

The victim had to shoot at the truck to keep from getting hit.

Louallen is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of felony theft by taking, two counts of misdemeanor theft by taking, two counts of reckless conduct and a single count of criminal trespass.
