Man shot in the back on Hardy Avenue

June 12, 2019–7:30 p.m.

NEWS RELEASE

At around 5 p.m. Wednesday, Rome Police Officers were notified of a person driving toward the hospital who had been shot in the back.

Officers located the vehicle at a gas station on Second Avenue.

The man had two obvious wounds to the back and there were multiple bullet holes in the vehicle.

Investigation revealed this incident occurred on Hardy Ave.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where his condition is listed as stable.

The shooter(s) are unknown at this time.

The victim is a 21-year-old male, Qualin Finley, of a Polk County address.
