Rome Police arrest four men on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop on Gibbons Street at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Sunday.
According to Floyd County Jail records, made the stop for an improper left turn and then found Ecstasy, marijuana, a pistol and a digital scale in the vehicle.
30-year old Thomas Lamonte Smith of Rome; 25-year old Kishon Quartez Brown of Stone Mountain; 18-year old Higi Q’Vecchio Ne’Rand Stocks and 23-year old Raasheni Cortez Stocks, both of Rockmart, are all charged with possession of a controlled substance; possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime; possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute; and possession of drug-related objects.
Brown, who was the driver of the vehicle, was also charged with improper turn.
