The Floyd County Commission is expected to approve grants for the adult felony drug court and mental health court when it meets Tuesday.
The drug court grant is for $314,112 and will require a local match of $55,432.
The mental health grant is for $227,632 and will require a local match of $40,170.
The commission will also consider a request from the clerk’s office to approve a waiver of hearing and stipulation to sanctions regarding self-service fuel, beer and wine, and amusement game room licenses for 3007 Rockmart Highway as well as new licenses for the location.
They will also consider a request from the clerk’s office to approve an off-premises beer consumption license for Six Mile Food Mart, located at 3084 Cave Spring Road.
The commission is also expected to ask the City of Rome amend its Code of Ordinances to amend its code of ordinances to add a subparagraph regarding the Chuck Sennett III Memorial Amphitheater at the library.
The commission meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the county administration building.
The caucus starts at 4 p.m.
