It’s a crowded field for the Special Election for Congress in the 14th District, and on Tuesday night, area residents got to hear from candidates seeking to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in the U.S. House of Representatives.
One Community United held a forum at the Rome City Auditorium, where the candidates answered questions on a variety of topics—from the economy to immigration enforcement, and more.
The candidates who participated were Democrats Shawn Harris, Jonathan Hobbs, and Jim Davis; and Republicans Meghan Strickland and Jenna Turnipseed.
Independent Bob Ruszkowski also participated.
The forum was moderated by Dan Bevels and was streamed live.

The Special Election is on March 10.
Early voting will begin this coming Monday, February 16.
It is a non-partisan election, and a runoff, if needed, will be on April 7.
