The Floyd County Commission is expected to follow the Rome City Commission in approving a resolution to end the moratorium related to gas stations and convenience stores when it meets on Tuesday.
The cancellation of the moratorium follows the adoption of new development standards for new gas stations and convenience stores.
County commissioners will also consider a request to approve a single-season use agreement for AdventHealth Stadium with Diamond Baseball Holdings, LLC., owners of the Rome Emperors.
Other agenda items include recognition of the Floyd County Police Department’s Officers of the Quarter and Officers of the Year.
The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will meet at the County Administration building located at 12 East 4th Avenue.
The caucus will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Caucus Room (Suite 204), followed by the Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room (Suite 206).
The meeting is open to the public.
