The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to approve a contract with Advanced Sport Group for softball and baseball turf fields at all four high schools when it meets on Monday.
The board is also expected to purchase network switches and wireless access points for all four high schools.
The purchase price is $989,428, but with Erate, they only pay 20%, which makes the cost to the school system just shy of $198,000.
The county school board will also set driver’s education dates for the summer of 2026.
Other agenda items include recognition of the Employees of the Month, a facilities update, financial reports, and personnel changes.
The caucus will start at 5:00 pm in the boardroom, and the meeting will start at 6:00 pm.
